FAA facility map: Do you use it?
There are many apps available to use as a resource for airspace and flight elevations.
The first place I go when planning a flight or talking with a client is the FAA ArcGIS Facility map.
This is my “Go-To” for preflight planning first steps. Right away, I know what airspace I will be working in and what authorizations I may need. Then, I move on to other apps available.
I have saved the weblink on my phone so it is readily available.
