Personal Training

Starting with the basics of learning flight and safety, this program is ideal for those just starting with their UAS (drone). Learn how to set up the drone, install and operate firmware, download recommended Apps to use, FAA safety, and how to safely and legally fly your drone. Recommended length: 2 – 3 hours. Learn all about your UAS in a one-to-one, in-depth training lesson.

CFR 14 Part 107 Training

This online series includes 8 hours of presentation and discussion, in person or online, and your own workbook. This is course goes beyond learning what is need to pass the FAA 14 CFR Part 107. We will discuss real-life situations that will help you become a better remote pilot and make safer choices. The ASA Remote Pilot Test Prep workbook and 5 practice tests will help you prepare for the FAA Part 107 exam along with discussion and explanations of the FAA regulations, FAA Charts, and more.

Business, Flight and Safety Training

Our most popular course! In this 6-hour workshop, you will learn drone business basics to getting paid and how to fly safely and proficiently. This hands-on training workshop will start from basic to advanced maneuvers, we will progress to precision flight that is measurable and accountable to AUVSI standards. This course will build stick skills and confidence and provide business basics to get your company off the ground.

DroneDeploy Mapping Workshop

This course is a 1 day, 6-hour mapping workshop with DroneDeploy, one of the leading drone mapping software platforms. Interested in learning how to map with your drone? This course is for you. Learn the fundamentals of DroneDeploy in this 6-hour workshop and you will be prepared to work in the field. (Please note, some classes extend longer/shorter than the 6 hours intended to ensure learning objectives are met).

Pix4D Mapping Workshop

This course on Pix4D 2-day Mapping Workshop is 6 hours per day for two days, and covers drone mapping and processing with Pix4D. This workshop will give you confidence and training with the Pix4D platform. Learn acquisition and the many uses of Pix4D, including 3D point cloud and 2D orthomosiac, DSM, and DTM. (Please note, some classes extend longer/shorter than the 6 hours intended to ensure learning objectives are met).

Youth Drone Workshop

3-hour workshop. This STEM/STEAM workshop is a perfect introductory class for youth. Two age-appropriate sessions are available. Ages 13 – 15, or 16 – 18. Learn basic drone knowledge of safety, building, and flying in a fun and safe environment. This workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to assemble a drone and fly for fun with challenging obstacles. Also covered in this workshop is drone safety and career opportunities in the aviation industry for future aviators.
