Out riding the motorcycles and came across this abandoned dumpy house.
Didn’t go inside, but did throw the drone in the air to see about getting a quick map of the property. Mapped it with DroneDeploy and processed it in Pix4D. Then exported the .fbx file to Sketchfab.
There is room for improvement, but it was done spur of the moment with the Mavic Pro. This is not my recommended choice drone for mapping, but I had it with me and didn’t want to miss the opportunity.
On The Go Video.biz was there for the grand opening of the Rosetta Canyon Community Sports Park in Lake Elsinore.
My drone photo is on the cover of the Lake Elsinore Chamber Magazine. It is a beautiful park with five tournament fields. This park was designed to standards that will attract regional and national tournaments. Lake Elsinore is growing in such positive ways. Take a look at the video and see for yourself.
I have always said that the s’UAS offers a new perspective for photographs. The photos of the intaglios are the perfect example. I suggest you pick up a copy of Ancient America from Amazon.com. I think Kenneth L. Feder did a great job detailing America’s ancient past and he includes helpful bullet points for traveling to the areas. The aerial shots and information about the Blythe Intaglios can be found on pages 146 – 150.
It nice meeting up with Kenneth Feder and I am glad to be a part of the publication. I’m looking forward to more of his books and working together in the future.

Recently I had the privilege to talk with some students from the Athenian Middle School in Diablo, CA. It was a great experience and I am very excited that they maybe implementing a Drone STEM program. I’m lucky to share with others safety and “Fly Right”. So many of the students already have such enthusiasm in robotics. I was very surprised when I walked in with my AR Parrot and one of the students knew exactly what it was and knew all the specs. 🙂 I’m looking forward to working with more schools and I hope to see more female involvement through She Drones.
