Recently I had the privilege to talk with some students from the Athenian Middle School in Diablo, CA. It was a great experience and I am very excited that they maybe implementing a Drone STEM program. I’m lucky to share with others safety and “Fly Right”. So many of the students already have such enthusiasm in robotics. I was very surprised when I walked in with my AR Parrot and one of the students knew exactly what it was and knew all the specs. 🙂 I’m looking forward to working with more schools and I hope to see more female involvement through She Drones.
My interview with the Drone Radio Show podcast was aired today
The Drone Radio Show is a weekly podcast about drones and the people who use them for business, fun and research. I am very excited, I hope you enjoy it. I think it will encourage you to have fun, be safe, and expand your horizons with your drone. There is so many new things that can be accomplished with the use of drones. We are on the edge of a new generation and “The possibilities are endless”!
I would like to thank Randy Goers from DroneRadioShow.com for allowing me to be on his show. Also, I would like to give a big shout out to Leslie Bates with SheDrones and the awesome ladies the give me so much help on Amelia Dronehart.
Swansea Ghost Town Arizona
I have been riding motorcycles and off road vehicles in Arizona all my life. Swansea has always fascinated me. I enjoyed taking the DJI Phantom there to film.
The town was once a copper mining town from the early 1900’s, and is located in the desert of La Paz County Arizona.
I’m very excited to be on the front page of the Press Enterprise.
I love to fly. I hope I can share my enthusiasm with others, and teach people how to “fly right” and be safe.
